Starting a weight-loss medication can feel like standing at the edge of something big and unfamiliar. There is a lot to learn, a lot to track, and often a long stretch of time between one doctor visit and the next. CuraWeight was built for exactly those in-between moments.

CuraWeight is an AI companion experience. At the heart of it is Cura, our AI assistant, who is there to support you with personalized, encouraging, and evidence-informed guidance every step of the way. Cura is not here to replace your doctor. Cura is here to help you show up to your journey informed, organized, and a little more confident.

Our mission

We believe that people on weight-loss medications deserve more than a prescription and a pamphlet. They deserve a steady, knowledgeable presence that meets them where they are.

Our mission is simple: to help people feel supported, understood, and in control as they pursue better health. We do that by pairing thoughtful design with an AI companion that listens, remembers your context, and offers guidance grounded in clinical evidence. We frame everything Cura shares as information to bring to your healthcare provider, never as a diagnosis or a directive.

What CuraWeight does

CuraWeight gives you a calm, organized home base for your health. Here is what that looks like day to day.

Track your journey. Log the things that matter to you, including weight, doses, meals, hydration, movement, sleep, and how you are feeling. Over time, those small entries become a picture of your progress that is yours to keep and yours to share.

Understand your medication. Weight-loss medications can come with questions, from how they work to what to expect along the way. Cura helps you make sense of it all in plain language, and always points you back to your provider for anything clinical.

Get support between doctor visits. Appointments are short and life is long. When a question pops up at 9pm on a Tuesday, Cura is there to talk it through, help you prepare for your next visit, and remind you that you are not doing this alone.

We are careful about what we promise. CuraWeight does not guarantee results, and nothing in the app is medical advice. Your care team knows you best, and we built CuraWeight to make your time with them more productive, not to stand in for it.

The team behind CuraWeight

CuraWeight was founded by a small team that cares deeply about getting this right.

Ricky Sidhu, Co-Founder and CEO, and Prash Jain, Co-Founder and CTO, designed and built the product from the ground up, with a focus on craft, privacy, and an experience that feels human rather than clinical.

Guiding the clinical perspective is Dr. Amandeep Kahal, MD, Co-Founder and Chief Medical Advisor, a board-certified obesity medicine physician. She helps ensure that the information Cura shares is responsible, current, and grounded in real clinical understanding, and that the experience always respects the relationship between a patient and their own provider.

Together, the team shares one conviction: that technology, used carefully, can make a hard journey feel a lot more supported.
