CuraWeight is operated by Curawe, Inc., a Delaware C-corporation, 34159 Fremont Blvd #1019, Fremont, CA 94555 (curaweight.com). This disclaimer applies to the CuraWeight app and every feature in it, including the AI assistant Cura.
Information, not medical advice
CuraWeight provides general health information, education, and wellness support. Nothing in the app, and nothing Cura says, is medical advice, a medical opinion, or a clinical service. Using CuraWeight does not create a doctor-patient, clinical, or other professional relationship with Curawe, Inc. or anyone on its team.
Cura does not diagnose, prescribe, or change your dose
CuraWeight and Cura do not diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, or recommend dose changes. Content about medications, symptoms, and nutrition is general and educational, is not personalized medical advice, and may not reflect the latest clinical guidance. When the app names a medication, it is an example, not a recommendation to start, stop, switch, or adjust it.
Your provider comes first
Talk with your doctor or another qualified healthcare provider before making any decision about your medication, diet, exercise, or care. Never ignore professional advice, or delay getting it, because of something in CuraWeight. If your provider's guidance differs from the app, follow your provider.
In an emergency
Do not rely on CuraWeight in an emergency. It cannot respond to a medical crisis. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number right away (911 in the United States) or go to the nearest emergency room. If you are having thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the United States, or call your local emergency number.
If you live in Canada
This disclaimer applies to you in the same way. Some medications the app names are not approved or sold in Canada, or are sold there under another name, and the app's general information may describe how a medication is labeled in the United States rather than how Health Canada has approved it. Ask your provider or pharmacist which medications are available to you and how to use them.
